Mechoulam is seen as the most important innovator and pioneer in the field of cannabis research.
Mechoulam discovered that natural cannabinoids often had less pyschoactive effects while the beneficial effects of the constituents seemed stronger. He compared cannabinoids with a variety of active substances with cannabinoids in which these substances were isolated and purified.
Mechoulam concluded that the various components in cannabinoids work together and interact positively, to produce a number of potential therapeutic effects and therefore have a stronger impact than isolated THC or CBD extract.
He gave this the name entourage effect.
Thanks to Dr. Raphael Mechoulam and other scientists, we have learned and still learn more and more about cannabis and how many of its compounds interact with the human mind and body.
It paves the way for future research and brings the healing benefits of cannabis in general and CBD in particular to more people around the world.

Cannabinoids are the chemicals in the resin of the cannabis plant. Although THC and CBD might be the best known, they are by no means the only ones.
Besides the many different cannabinoids there are other important components of the plant such as terpenes and flavonoids. All these components work together to produce a number of potential therapeutic effects and therefore have a stronger impact than isolated THC or CBD extract.
This phenomenon is known as the entourage effect.
The entourage effect is a synergistic effect that results when the many components within the cannabis plant interact with the human body to produce a stronger impact than if any one of those components used alone.
Because the different components can enhance each other’s effect, the entire plant is more effective for the treatment of undesirable symptoms and disorders.
By combining all of the therapeutic components of the cannabis plant we don’t end up with the sum of the parts but rather with a multiplying effect.
Renviden CBD full spectrum products come from industrial hemp which means that they have a high percentage of CBD and a very low percentage of THC. This full spectrum combination of cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and minerals provide the highest level of entourage effectiveness.
The entourage effect was first described in 1964 by Prof. Dr. Raphael Mechoulam, a well-known Israeli cannabis chemist and expert. Mechoulam is seen as the most important innovator and pioneer in the field of marijuana research.
